ABOUT ULVİ KOCAİLİK
He has completed more than 20 years in commercial real estate business. For the past 15 years while in RE/MAX commercial, Ulvi Kocailik has been continuously named among the Top 50 commercial real estate agents from over 120.000 RE/MAX members in more than 100 countries.
Ulvi Kocailik was born in Tire, Izmir in 1965. After studying at Kuleli Military High School, he graduated from the Turkish Armed Forces as a survey engineer. Mr. Kocailik worked as a GPS officer under the General Command of Mapping and conducted earthquake research with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Subsequently, he was a visiting scholar at MIT in Boston. In 1993, Mr. Kocailik graduated from Middle East Technical University, Computer Engineering Department and left the Turkish Armed Forces in 1994.
From 1994 to 2001, he led select teams at Makro IT in Istanbul as General Manager, and from 2001 to 2005, as Deputy General Manager for Informatik Group, responsible for ProEngineer mechanical engineering software for factories, which was quoted on the Nasdaq stock exchange. Over the years, Mr. Kocailik has won numerous honors and awards. These include the Achievement Award at the Turkish Military Academy Chess Tournament; Photographer of the Year Award from AFSAD (Association of Photographers of Ankara) in 1993; Microsoft 2000 Best Sales Boosting Idea Award; and second prize worldwide with his team among 250 PTC ProEngineer distributors in 2004.
Mr. Ulvi Kocailik, in addition to his professional training in golf, barista, sommelier, photography, chess, and carpet-rug, is also the owner of a library with more than 1,250 works for avid readers. He is a member of the Ataşehir Golf Club and the TİGA-Commercial Real Estate Association, of which he is one of the founders and an honorary member.
Over the last 20 years, Ulvi Kocailik has finalized appraisals for 4,000+ commercial properties; marketed 2,000+ commercial properties; conducted 30,000+ Buyer-Seller meetings; completed 1.000+ transactions; and executed 600+ commercial property leasing contracts. He has completed more than 20 years of experience as a broker in leasing and selling large properties especially – including office buildings, factories, warehouses, as well as land to build such properties.
Mr. Kocailik has delivered five keynote speeches on commercial real estate at congresses and symposiums in the US. He has also been an invited speaker at congresses in Turkey and Italy.

He was presented with a RE/MAX International Circle of Legends Award – a very special honor currently held by only 350 persons worldwide. The prestigious award is granted to those who have provided services for 10 years continuously and have achieved an exceptional transaction volume at RE/MAX.
Mr. Kocailik holds an ACP (Accredited Commercial Professional) Certificate, licensed by the USA, and has offered training in Turkey since 2017. He contributes to producing qualified commercial real estate agents through his training, dedicated YouTube channel, private mentoring for real estate agents and frequent speeches.
Ulvi Kocailik is married and has one child. He is the author of the book “Gayrimenkulün Şifreleri (Codes of Real Estate).”
